New York: Richard Threlkeld, 74-years-old, was killed in a car accident when his car collided with a propane tanker. Mr. Threlkeld was a former co-ancher on the CBS Morning News and also a former correspondent on the CBS Evening News With Dan Rather. He was considered an exceptional newsman with impeccable ethics and integrity.
