Drunk Driving Causes Death And Prompts Lawsuit Against Major Hotel

I represent the parents of a brilliant, young doctor who was killed two years ago in an accident caused by a severely drunk driver. The driver of the car worked at a major international hotel chain as a bartender, and left a company holiday party severely intoxicated, with a blood alcohol level almost three times the legal limit. This driver got drunk with not just the permission, but the actual encouragement, of his bosses at the hotel. In fact, we discovered that the hotel party was an orgy of alcohol abuse. Less than one hour after the driver left the hotel and got behind the wheel, he slammed into the back of a car at over 100 miles per hour, killing the driver of that car. This is another senseless tragedy that simply did not have to happen. A lawsuit was filed against both the hotel and the drunk employee, who was within the course and scope of his employment when he killed my clients' son. Drunk driving accidents claims thousands of lives a year in this country. Countless wrongful death and personal injury lawsuits are filed to hold the responsible parties accountable.
