Gas Tanker Crash Causes $250,000 In Damages

Southern California: An inferno caused extensive damage to guard rails and asphalt after a car driven by an alleged drunk driver collided with a gas tanker on April 7, 2012. The gas tanks were split open, causing gas to gush out of the tanker and onto the 134 freeway. The gas then ignited. The driver of the car was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving and released on $5,000 bail.
